APR was founded in 1952 by Jean Rogero in Montpezat de Quercy (Tarn et Garonne) with the manufacture of industrial switches.
In 1971 the new plant was created in Caussade, under the name APEM and specialized in miniature switches.
The vertical integration, with 9 production sites, specialized by products, ensuring perfect technical knowledge and extreme reactivity, together with 4 logistic centers, located strategically in each continent, close to main markets, ensure quick deliveries and tailored customer service.
