Omnitronic is a brand created in 1991 by Steinigke (Steinigke Ton-Licht-Effekte Ton-Licht-Effekte).
Steinigke was founded in 1979. Soon, their company grew too large for the garage: in 1985, they moved into their first office and produced their first catalogue.
In 1991, Steinigke embarked on a trend-setting path: Instead of only selling third-party trademarks, the company now invested in developing its own brand. Under the name Eurolite, the first proprietary lighting products were born. The great success of Eurolite then led to the creation of more own brands: Later, in the 1990s, Alutruss, Europalms, Futurelight, Omnilux and Omnitronic were launched.
Today, Steinigke is one of the largest manufacturers and distributors for shows and events in Europe and an essential part of the industry.
