The SSOP28-SOIC28 to DIP adapter is a double-sided printed circuit board that allows for mounting integrated circuits in 8- to 28-pin SSOP formats on one side and integrated circuits in 8- to 28-pin SOIC formats on the other.
In both cases, the signals are carried on two standard 2.54 mm (0.1") connectors spaced 15.24 mm (0.6") apart, the same spacing as standard integrated circuits.
This adapter will allow you to use components sold only in SOIC and SSOP formats and mount them on standard breadboards.
