The Heiman ZigBee gas sensor is designed to prevent the risk of gas leaks in homes.
In the event of detection, an alarm is triggered, as well as a Zigbee signal sent to the main controller.
It is possible to create different scenarios then triggered by said alert.
A Zigbee controller (home automation controller, Zigbee dongle, ...) is required to integrate the detector into your network if you do not have an existing Zigbee network.
Mains powered, this sensor can also be used as a repeater to extend your Zigbee network.
