We often find ourselves with the need to simulate a current signal of 4 to 20mA as given by a certain sensor to be able to make adjustments or tests in automata, PLC's or other systems or processes. Generally, we can do this with a process calibrator since they usually have this functionality. However, these calibrators are expensive and if we only need to generate a current of 4 to 20mA and be able to make variations of this current as if they were variations of the physical variable that we are measuring, we can use this device for a small .
