Installation is straightforward: connect the red wire to the positive terminal of the power supply and the black wire to the negative terminal or ground.

Equipped with an advanced microcontroller, this digital voltage meter accurately measures the input voltage, comparing it to a stable reference, and displays the results on a 7-segment screen with 3 digits, each 0.56 inches high. It offers a precision of 0.1 V over an operating range of 4.5 V to 30 V DC. Additionally, it features reverse polarity protection, ensuring safety and durability in various electronic projects.

The current consumption is minimal, between 3 and 4 mA, sufficient to power both the microcontroller and the display. The bright green LED screen provides excellent readability, even in low-light conditions. For installation in your panel or enclosure, simply make a rectangular cutout measuring 45.5 mm by 26.5 mm and snap the meter into place.

This two-wire digital voltmeter offers a very simple installation, as it does not require an external power source to measure the voltage to which it is connected. It is powered by the very voltage it is measuring, simplifying installation by eliminating the need for an additional power supply. However, it is important to note that it cannot measure voltages below 4.5 VDC. Other digital voltmeters with a three- or four-wire design, which have an independent power supply from the voltage being measured, can measure lower voltages.
