Connectors
Flat Ribbon Cable Connector (Except D-sub)
CTCTJP
Although they are usually known as IDC connectors (insulation-displacement contact), this way of describing them is not very correct, since IDC refers to the technique or form of connection with the cable conductor, which is by insulating displacement.
These connectors were used a few years ago to join hard drives or HDDs in desktop and industrial computers, but they are still used industrially to join cards together or with external peripherals.
Currently we can find them for example in the connection bus of the Raspberry Pi.
Other flat cable connectors that are also connected by the IDC technique such as SUB-D connectors, or telephone connectors, for example, are not found in this section, but in yours in particular.
