A spectrum analyzer is a measuring instrument capable of reflecting frequency spectra on its screen, be they electrical, acoustic or optical waves.
This usually also shows the level in dBm of the signal spectrum on the ordinate axis. The frequency is represented on the abscissa axis.
The device, however, cannot measure electric or magnetic field values.
